Board Care Guide
1. CLEAN
Wipe your wood product with lukewarm water and mild soap. Rinse lightly and immediately allow to air dry. Never put wood products in the dishwasher.
2. SMOOTH
If deep scratches or wear appear, lightly sand the surface with fine-grit steel wool, an orbital sander, or a fine sandpaper block. Always work with the grain of the wood.
3. PROTECT
After smoothing, apply a thin layer of food-safe wood oil (such as mineral oil) or a high-quality wood wax (like our Board Butter).
4. FINISH
Once the finish has dried (I like to wait overnight), wipe away any remaining residue with a clean cloth. Your wood product is now ready for use! Periodically repeat these steps to prolong its life and natural beauty.
